Steve Jensen
Jensen's love of nature has led him to create totem-pole-like sculptures from wood that has washed ashore or fallen in the forest. Throughout his career shapes from the forest and the sea have been found in his drawings and now also in his striking metal sculptures. Educated at the University of Washington and the Cornish College of Art in Seattle, WA, he has been the recipient of many honors and awards, including an individual artist grant from the GAP corporation and an Exhibition Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. He can be found in many distinguished public collections, including A.T. and T., Raffles Hotel in Singapore and Warner Bros. in Los Angeles.
