Paula Zima
Paula's work is consistently uplifting. She focuses on the benevolent spirits of animals, the empowerment of confidence and the importance of a good sense of humor - all of which show up beautifully in her bronze animals. Educated at CalPoly in San Luis Obispo, CA, where she received her BA in Commercial Illustration, Zima also studied drawing, sculpture and field biology at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, - printmaking and foundry techniques at Cuesta Community College and was an apprentice to the late sculptor, Allan Houser.
