John Battenberg
John Battenberg creates bronze sculptures of great strength and dignity. From his wild animals to his profoundly moving series on WWII airmen, his work has gained acclaim for several decades. He studied at the University of Wisconsin, Minnesota State College, Oxford University in England, taking his MFA at Michigan State University and going on to the California College of Arts and Crafts to do more graduate work. His work is found in many galleries, museums and collections throughout the United States and Europe.
