Theodore Waddell

Born in Montana in l941, Waddell studied at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, Montana State University and took his M.F.A. from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Coming from three generations of Montana ranchers, Waddell translates his passion for wilderness and love for animals through impressionistic use of paint, color, light, texture and form on canvas and paper. Waddell’s work is widely acclaimed and collected throughout the U.S. His art can be found in the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, IN, the Yellowstone Art Center in Billings, MT, and the Dallas Museum of Art in Dallas, TX . as well as many other important public collections. Waddell’s work appeals to collectors of abstract art as well as those for whom the romance of the West is irresistible.
