Anne Hunter Hamilton has been in love with nature
since she was a child. She has hiked the Sierras, ridden in cattle
drives, sailed in the San Francisco Bay and now lives in the midst
of a vineyard in the Napa Valley. She studied art at the California
College of Arts and Crafts and paints landscapes using watercolor
as a base, often working in oil pastels, acrylics, graphite and
a line of poetry or prose. Her paintings are colorful,playful works
that communicate a spirited emotion and reverence for the landscape
that she so loves.
